HIGH CARBON STEEL WIRE MESH (SPRING STEEL WIRE MESH):
High carbon steel wire mesh is also known as spring steel wire mesh which offers increased strength and abrasion resistance, usually this is selected for aggregate sizing and sifting applications.
This steel mesh is recognized for being especially hard, but the extra carbon also makes it more brittle than other types of steel mesh.
It is commonly used for coal mining, sand & stone separating and sorting applications, gravel and other general industrial use.
LOW CARBON STEEL WIRE MESH (MILD STEEL WIRE MESH)
Low carbon steel wire mesh is also known as mild steel wire mesh which has a relatively low tensile strength, but it is cheap and easy to form.
This mesh has limited application due to its weakness in less resistance to abrasion, chemical attack.
